Meet Dr. Tommie
Dr. Kayla Tommie is a highly skilled and compassionate dentist with rich cultural heritage, boasting familial ties to both Jamaica and China. Dr. Tommie’s diverse background enhances her ability to provide empathetic care, allowing effective connections with all her patients. As a Miami Gardens native, she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Nova Southeastern University and holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Barry University, along with two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Miami, reflecting her strong commitment to academic excellence.
Dedicated to comprehensive dental care, Dr. Tommie specializes in preventative, restorative, implant and cosmetic dentistry. Her patient-centered approach ensures personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Committed to staying at the forefront of dental advancements, she regularly attends continuing education courses, including the completion of NSU’s 300-hour AAID Implant MaxiCourse, and is an active member of the American Dental Association, Florida’s Dental Association and American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Known for her gentle touch, meticulous attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to enhancing her patients’ oral health and smiles, Dr. Tommie is highly regarded in her field.
